Yoga Deep

Longer holds, and lingering poses to create full body strength and awareness and to take you to a deeper place of opening. Flow & Restore

Sundays from 4:30pm-5:45pm at MuseMovement studio.

 

This slow vinyasa class is a total mind/body reset. 

We begin with a long meditation & glide into a focused, gentle vinyasa flow. The slow, meditative movement connects deeply with the natural rhythm of the breath. The focus is on lengthening, opening & awakening the body. We finish off with a long savasana/pranayama finale. Suitable for all levels. Beginners welcome. 


Meditate 

Starting Sunday, May 7th from 6:00pm - 6:45pm at MuseMovement studio.

Kids Yoga

Fast paced, dynamic & fun yoga for kids between the ages of 6-12 . Yoga learning happens through games, physical play & story time. Kids learn basic yoga poses & breathing techniques & the practice of mindfulness which they can take into their daily life.

In this class, our main focus is toning the abdominal muscles, but it's so much more. We also work on strengthening the back, while opening up the hips - all part of a complete core strengthening program.  A byproduct of this type of work is not just visible on the outside, but helps to keep your whole body strong and toned.

There's more to good posture than just how you look. Good posture is a sign that our bodies are working properly. However, more often than not my students talk of back pain, tension headaches, and even shoulder and hip pain. All of this can be related to poor posture. In this class we work together to counteract years of bad conditioning on the surrounding muscles & work on building strength, length & flexibility where necessary.

Tips: Be ready for a postural assessment & targeted workouts as homework.
